SCM France, a new headquarters to celebrate 50 years of presence on the market
SCM France is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary with an Inauguration (Grand Opening) dedicated to the entire French wood processing industry.
On March 26 and 27, 2026, the subsidiary will open the doors of its new headquarters in Vourles, on the western outskirts of Lyon, to present to the market the latest technological and digital innovations developed by the Italian Group.
The event will be preceded, on March 25, by a day dedicated to the sales network and distributors who actively contribute to ensuring a strong presence and close support across the entire national territory.
Fifty years represent a prestigious milestone, to be celebrated with customers, partners and employees who have contributed, over the decades, to the success and development of SCM France. This anniversary also marks a new ambitious starting point to strengthen relationships, further enrich the range of products and services offered and guarantee a partnership increasingly focused on the real needs of customers.
The opening of this new headquarters of more than 2,000 square meters, representing a fourfold increase in surface area compared with the previous site, is part of a strategic investment plan confirming the growing attention SCM is dedicating to the French market.
The new Technology Center will showcase around twenty technological solutions covering different application areas: from the furniture industry to the production of wooden and aluminium doors and windows, as well as artisan joinery. All solutions — including the new MES software and SCM’s proactive services aimed at optimising efficiency and operational continuity — will be at the heart of the technical demonstrations and in-depth sessions.
