SCM at the Cabinet Manufacturing Summit 2026
SCM took part as a sponsor and speaker at the Cutting Edge: Cabinet Manufacturing Summit, held on Friday 12 June 2026 at Cliftons in Sydney. The annual event brought together cabinet manufacturers from across the country for a practical, content-led day focused on improving factory output, simplifying processes and increasing profitability.

Simon Nanni, Key Account Manager, and Darrel Aldridge, both from SCM, presented the session Rethinking Manufacturing: Less Labour, More Output as part of the Summit's Factory Performance and Operational Efficiency block.
Rather than focusing solely on machinery, the presentation offered a broader perspective on SCM's business journey, including the company's strategic approach to vertical integration and the acquisition of complementary businesses to expand technical competence and market reach. This evolution from machinery manufacturer to a technology group covering the full production chain provided attendees with insight into the strategic thinking behind SCM's growth.

The Summit concluded with the Industry Insights Panel: What's Changing in Cabinet Manufacturing, featuring Darrel Aldridge from SCM alongside representatives from Jowat, Jobman and Cabinetry.Online. The panel addressed a full room of cabinet makers, covering a wide range of topics from adhesives and materials to digital tools and factory efficiency, reflecting the breadth of change currently shaping the industry.
