SCM presents new solutions for smart manufacturing in the timber construction industry

SCM returns to IHF, the International Wood Construction Conference and the final event in the Forum Holzbau calendar, bringing to a close a year marked by investments, innovations and new solutions for the timber construction industry.

The 30th edition of IHF will take place in Innsbruck, Austria, from 2 to 4 December. The event is the culmination of a journey that has seen SCM take part in numerous Forum Holzbau events across Europe, strengthening its dialogue with the entire timber construction supply chain.
As a key technology partner for the sector, SCM will present advanced solutions for smart timber processing. An offering built around a clear objective: helping modern carpenters adopt faster, smarter processes across a wide variety of applications, including structural beams, CLT wall and floor elements, prefabricated walls, roofs, trusses and insulation panels.

In addition to its machinery, SCM will highlight the digital services available through its IoT Solution platform. By connecting machines and production data, the platform helps users monitor and optimise production performance while reducing operating, energy and maintenance costs.
